Lock - 5 months old

Wow!! It's hard to believe that Lock is already 5 months old and 22 lbs.  A happy big boy as you can see from these recent photos of him.   Lock continues to improve and amaze us every day.  He is truly a "gift from God".  He scored 100% on his doctor's visit at UMC. Ross/Suzanne were told that 80% of children do not survive this type of "event"--he is in the 20% that did. We all credit God with this miracle gift and all of your prayers that, we believe, saved his life. Please continue to pray for this sweet baby, his parents, and his siblings, and his family as we move through the following years, adjusting to the "new normal" of an apnea monitor, realizing how close we came to losing him, and thanking God constantly for this gift.

A new year and back to work.  Last year came with many changes in my life including the loss of my dad, the birth of my 6th grandchild, buying a second home and the illness of that new precious grandchild.  2011 was a year of great sorrow and much joy.  We have been blessed and see God's amazing miracle everyday now!!  Our precious Lock is doing well and continues to amaze us.

This new year has started off with a wonderful photo shoot of a precious little boy named Graeme (pronounced Graham). His grandmother brought him to Brandon for me to take his photos as I could not get to Quitman over last weekend. As you can see from these photos we had a great time. It's hard to believe that I am a grandmother of 6 now and that I am photographing my children's friends children. I must say that I am totally looking forward to 2012 and all of the wonderful possibilities this year offers including launching my photography in the Brandon area as well as continuing in Quitman and surrounding areas. I totally appreciate all of my clients! We are now booking weddings, seniors, portraits, and sports as the new year starts and hope to hear from each of you.
